You gotta love the first few weeks of your bright yet fresh looking hair color… Oh, by the way, it does not stay that way. Well, geez louise…there has to be a way to address that.  All color fades with time due to shampooing with harsh surfactants, heat styling, and environmental factors such as exposure to UVA/UVB rays, which lessens the pigments deposited in hair causing fade age and damage. The good news is that there are ways to avoid loosing that beautiful color… Using tepid water instead of hot water can hold your hair color better. Hot water opens up the hair cuticle and drops out the color molecules causing hair color to fade. Use professional grade shampoos and conditioners when you start coloring your hair so that it won’t fade and dry out your hair too much. Use very little soap and use a lot more conditioner in order to keep it healthy and it will hold your color longer…You will see!

Helpful tips: Wash your hair 2-3 times a week only…Use more conditioner- Trust me it wont weigh down the hair because professional hair products do not add in that awful bees wax into their products. When you care for your hair and take good care of it, you will not have a problem with the integrity of your hair and you will not need too much taken off your locks in between trimming your hair and operating the hot tools on it. Condition, Condition Condition! I promise you will keep your gorgeous color from fading away…
